Be anxious for nothing

beach-beautiful-bridge-449627.jpg

Phil 4:6 tells us to “Be anxious for nothing.” This scripture seems like a tall order, but God requires us to exchange our anxiety for His peace. Pray about everything and you will constantly be at peace! Remember, we pray to the Almighty God: the mountain moving, Red Sea parting God, the One who flung the stars in the sky, the One to whom nothing is impossible. The song writer wrote:” Oh what Peace we often forfeit, Oh what needless pain we bear, all because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.” Carry all your burdens, issues, worries, concerns to God in prayer today and walk in peace.

The One Who Gave Us Joy

adventure-beauty-blonde-hair-725255.jpg

Are you a joyful person? That doesn’t mean you are happy 24/7. There are many circumstances in life that would cause saddest, but it does mean that even in sad times you still exhibit the fruit of the spirit- joy. Why? Because of the One who  gave us joy in the first place. Jesus is our Joy  Giver. He is our joy. A joy the world cannot take away, a joy no depression can mask, a joy no situation can dilute. A joy that does not come from external circumstances, but from an internal place in our spirits that cannot be touched, corrupted, intimidated or routed. A joy unspeakable and full of glory! As a truly joyful person  seek to lift others up and to inspire them to walk in joy as well. Desire for them to know our Joy Giver. I encourage you today to spread joy to the people around you. When you come into a room - light it up with your effervescent joy! Be a joyful person.

He Literally Is My Strength

boat-chain-dawn-119562.jpg

With each new sunrise I thank the Lord for the strength He alone provides. And then I realize He doesn’t just provide me with strength, He literally is my strength! What an amazing Savior! He provides Himself to satisfy all our need. He could give nothing greater than Himself so He did. This is the good news of Christianity, of the Gospel message! Religions teach you have to be strong in mind and spirit, be better people so you can appease a hard to please and angry god. But Jesus— that’s why He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. We can’t walk in the way of righteousness apart from Him, we can’t know Truth without knowing Him, we have no life apart from what He gives. Celebrate the sunrise of a new day and tell someone of this good news!

Jehovah Jireh

animals-birds-nature-21261.jpg

They don't work, yet God provides for them because He loves them. Who are "they"?? Birds! They don't work. Now if God provides for the birds of the air because of love, won't He also provide for us, His Beloved People! Of course He will!.  He loves us, He will provide,  He IS providing.  That is who He is - Jehovah Jireh.  So look at those non-working birds as a reminder of the  goodness of God.  Praise and thank the Lord for His great loving provision. Have an awesome day.

A New Opportunity

beach-dark-dawn-39853.jpg

Each day is a new opportunity to begin again. Begin again to pray,  begin again to praise God.  Begin again to love, to serve,  to show kindness. Let's not take the day for granted.  If God woke you up today,  He has a purpose and plan for your today.  May you walk in mercy and grace, may you accomplish what needs to be done today and not regret yesterday or fret about tomorrow.  May you walk today in peace, joy and love. Help someone today, pray for someone today. Enjoy today.

God is Working

4k-wallpaper-blue-nature-26681.jpg

Each new day God is working His perfect divine plan out in our lives. So, at the start of each new day, take some time to listen to Him speaking and get directions for that day. Then all through the day, be aware of the presence of the Holy Spirit guiding, directing and leading us in the way we should go. You will experience peace and calm no matter what situation may arise and you will have confidence that the Almighty God is with you.  May you walk with the King today and be a blessing.

Perfect Peace

beautiful-bloom-blooming-666839.jpg

Be still and know God is God!  We stay in perfect peace as we keep our mind stayed on God and trust in Him.  Jesus is our Prince of Peace. He gives us peace that the world cannot give. He gives us peace the world cannot take away. No matter what is happening in your world today or in the world around you, take time to be still and breathe in God's perfect peace. Enjoy the day. Encourage someone else to be still.

God's Timing is Perfect

accuracy-alarm-clock-analogue-552598.jpg

God's timing is perfect.  As we wait upon him for answers to our prayers, we wait with confident expectation knowing He heard us the first time we prayed; The first time we set ourselves to seek His face. But we wait on His timing knowing He not only hears us, but takes pleasure in setting us up for the miraculous. Don't give up on God - He won't give up on you. Keep believing,  keep trusting,  keep thanking Him for His perfect timing. Have a peace filled day.

Ps. 34:1-22

Trust Him

child-father-and-child-forest-173408.jpg

God wants us to enjoy the journey called life. He requires that we do justice,  love mercy and yes, Trust Him. He always has a plan. And it is always for our good. So we must never take matters into our own hands thinking we can do a better job than God. We can't!  And when we try to, we make a mess of our lives. But thanks be to God who loves us so much, He comes to our rescue, picks us up, dusts us off, forgives us and leads us in the correct path on our journey.  He won't ever leave us. Be brave today and boldly pursue God with joy on your life's journey.

Micah 6:8; Ps. 100

Just be still

clouds-desert-dusk-965157.jpg

Just be still. Don't allow your mind to race about with all your cares, worries and anxieties.  Take time each new day to mediate on God's Word.  Remember He never panics. Remember He's got this. Remember nothing is too hard for Him to do. You just be still and thank Him for working it all out for your good and for His Glory. Let God do the heavy lifting.  Let Him make the power play. Let Him be your lawyer. Let Him be your doctor. Let Him straighten out the struggle.  Be still and let God be God.  Allow Him to surprise you this month with His mercy and grace. So that which is a mountain becomes a molehill. Have a safe and blessed day.

What's the point?

beach-dark-dawn-39853.jpg

What's the point?  Many times in life we may feel what's the point. What's the point of waking up each day, what's the point of going to work or school or both each day. What's the point of the constant struggle to pay bills, put food on the table,  interact peacefully with people, keep a positive attitude.  What's the point? The point is-your everyday life is seen by God. It is important to Him because you are important to Him. He knows the everyday struggle, but He says don't grow weary in well doing because there is a season of reaping what you have sown. Don't faint now. Don't give up before the harvest comes in. Don't quit before you see the fruit of your labor. When the curtain of life is pulled back you're going to be pleasantly surprised of how pleased God is with you and how you lived your everyday life to honor Him. He says to those who endure He will give a crown of life.  So keep pressing.  Look to Jesus, He will point you in the right direction and illumine your path each and every day. Enjoy the day called today.

Put faith to work

adventure-cold-daylight-291732.jpg

Put faith to work. Have you noticed that Faith takes work, it  takes effort. But doubting on the other hand comes so easily.  It takes work to have faith that  an unfavorable mountain, an issue  I see right in front of me will be removed or changed for the better. It's so much easier to think -- I see the mountain,  I see it's bigger than me, I see it's stronger than me so it will never be removed. Nothing will ever change. What I see in front of me is my only reality,  so I might as well quit, throw in the towel, give up. I guess that's why the Lord reminds us to walk and live by faith and not by sight. Faith does not say there is no mountain,  it simply says my GOD is BIGGER than any mountain,  BIGGER  than any problem or issue of life I see in front of me. I don't face this mountain alone, He is ever with me and He is working all out for my good and for His glory.  Don't take the easy way out and doubt-- put faith to work today. Stand in faith knowing God is BIGGER.

Enjoy today.

God has never failed you and He won’t start now

adventure-alone-atmosphere-848573.jpg

One of my favorite songs is “Oceans” by Hillsong. It says “I will call upon Your Name and keep my eyes above the waves. When oceans rise, my soul will rest in your embrace for I am yours and you are mine.”

This is how we should respond to the waves in our lives. Whether they be waves of distress, sickness, financial pressures, grief, loneliness, confusion, depression, anxiety or disappointment- whatever the waves of pain, hurt or trouble- we must call upon Jesus and keep our eyes above the waves. When oceans rise, realize I am His and He is mine. When oceans rise, know God’s grace abounds in deepest waters and that His sovereign Hand will be your guide. In the waves where feet fail and fear surrounds remember God has never failed you and He won’t start now. Rest in His embrace for you are His and He is yours. Have an awesome day.

No bounds, No limits

accessories-afro-beautiful-935985.jpg

God’s Grace knows no bounds, no limits. It is overwhelming! That’s why we serve Him and walk in obedience. It’s in response to this Grace, this unmerited favor that we know we don’t deserve, that we “renounce ungodliness and worldly passions and live self-controlled, upright and godly lives.” Titus 2:11 MSG Bible.

Grace transforms our desires, motivations, behavior and attitudes. Lord, thank you for your Grace. May you give us opportunity this day to offer it to someone who has lost their way, who is without hope, who is  blind in their spirit and cannot see you are the Way, the Truth and the Life. Your Grace transforms lives. It is truly Amazing!
Have an awe filled day.

Aggressive Forgiveness

backlit-bruno-scramgnon-fotografia-dawn-585759.jpg

Good morning.

We will not take God’s grace for granted!

GRACE is :
God’s  Redeeming  Action  Continuing  Eternally!

The Message Bible calls it “aggressive forgiveness.“  Like the prodigal son’s father our loving Heavenly Father runs after us, hugs us, falls on our neck and kisses us! God’s grace gives us what we don’t deserve (life) and doesn’t give us what we do deserve (death). Grace is the awesomeness of God in action ! God gives us grace for each new day and His grace is sufficient for us over every issue of life! Receive God’s Grace, but never take it for granted. It is truly Amazing! Have a great day.

Much luv.
