We all need to be rescued in one way or another. Whether we are rescued from a trap laid by our enemy, or rescued from a perilous situation, or rescued from financial debt or even rescued from ourselves, our negative and often times self-sabotaging way of thinking. We all need to be rescued. The good news is- our God, Jehovah Nissi is in the rescuing business. He sent His only begotten Son Jesus to come to our rescue. He extends His Hands to us now, to pull us up out of our trap, out of our pit of despair, out of the mire of self- pity. Receive His rescue today. Jesus will not only rescue us but sustain us. He is able to keep us from falling and present us faultless before God the Father. That’s what salvation is all about, rescue and sustaining. Believe today, receive today.
Thank God for brand new days. A new day to start fresh, a new day to get it right, a new day to trust God, a new day to glorify our Savior! A new day to stand and having done all — stand. Sometimes in the midst of a storm, that’s all you can do— just stand. Your victory is in your ability to stand. To not quit, give up or throw in the towel. Your victory is: you’re still standing. Still standing after the hurtful words are spewed, still standing after the doctor visit, still standing when you leave the court room, still standing after you leave the ATM empty handed, still standing after all the fiery darts are thrown! You can stand with your heads held high knowing your God’s got this. He is blessing you more than your two eyes can see, more than your heart can perceive! After all- He is sovereign, after all- He is only good. Thank God for the brand new day and expect His blessings!
The key to your breakthrough is forgiveness. If you need a healing in your life whether it be physical, financial, emotional or spiritual -- use your key — forgive. Forgive others and do not walk around offended carrying grudges, bitterness or even hatred. To be made whole you must walk free of all barriers to healing and deliverance. If someone has wronged you, surrender it to God. Ask God to enable you to forgive. You know you have truly forgiven when the offence no longer has power over you to depress you and keep you down in the "dumps". When you walk free, your prayers are unhindered. Have an awesome day.
It's time! It's time to let go, and let God. Let God have His Way in your life. Let God pay your bills, let God heal your body, let God deliver your loved ones. Stop your striving-- you're just tiring yourself out! Stop worrying -- you're getting anxious over what is out of your control. Let God. He wants to, but you have to LET Him do it for it's not by might or power, but by His Spirit. He is the God of Angel-Armies, He is God Almighty -- all by Himself. He is able AND willing. Allow Him to be Lord of your life, Lord over your circumstances, Lord over your finances. Trust Him. It's time to rest in His power. Decree the good today. Expect the good today.
God tells us He will never leave us or forsake us. Forsake means to give up on. God will never give up on us. We are the apple of His eye, we are all His favorites! He loves us more than we can imagine, but we get a glimpse of His love when we look at Calvary. So what ever situation you may have to face today, expected or unexpected, rest assured with confidence that your Lord, your God is with you. The Lord God Almighty, the Holy One, the Lord strong in battle, the God of Angel-Armies is with you! Enjoy the day.
Let's expose the purpose of the enemy to bring condemnation and guilt. And let's exalt the Name of Jesus through whom we have forgiveness with God and can live sin free by the Holy Spirit. There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. Let's release the bondages and limitations the enemy would want us to walk in and accept the freedom to live with no limitations because He whom the Son has set free is free indeed. Hallelujah! Amen. Have an awesome day!
Lord, make us instruments of your peace! We all want to be useful. But let us make sure we allow God to use us and not the enemy. Let us set a watch over our mouths so we speak only words that encourage and not offend. Let us guard our hearts so that we are easy to forgive not so easily offended. Lord, use us as your instruments to do good and not harm in Jesus' Name Amen. You be the blessing today.
Jesus not only knows about our baggage- He's got it!. Got it all!. So we have no excuse not to follow Him. None of our messed up stuff is hid from Him. And you know what? He loves us just the same. We don't clean up our baggage, we don't straighten up our act then come to Jesus. No, if we could help ourselves we wouldn't need a Savior! We come to Jesus just as we are and allow Him to take our baggage, allow Him to clean us up, allow Him to straighten us up. Receive Jesus' love today. Give Him all your baggage, allow Him to be Lord of your life today and every day. You won't be disappointed.
No matter what trial, test or hardship you may be passing through today, please be reminded that God is in a love relationship with you. He cares for you deeply. He is working on your behalf. He is never failing. Lets Keep trusting Him. He has planned only 100% victory for us. Believe it, receive it, expect it. God is good all the time and His love for us is so great it surpasses our understanding. Walk in your victory today.
Father God, we pray for strength today in the Name of Jesus. We pray for strength to continue to face the challenges of life and to combat them because no weapon formed against us will ever harm us. We're praising our way through today and every day this week. Lord God, make your presence known. Keep our fire burning stronger than ever before. We give you all the praise and honor and glory. We know that when we praise in the middle of our issues, it confuses the enemy of our souls and destroys his attempts to hold us in bondage. Lord God, we thank you for everything you've been doing and we are excited for the future because there is no one like you. Amen and Amen.
Sometimes in our lives there are unexpected twists and turns. We might even say detours, but we don't have to panic or fret or lose our joy because our loving Heavenly Father knows all about them. Even the things we deem evil or bad that happens, God turns them around for good. So we should never adopt a sour or complaining attitude, rather we should trust God and pray to be aware of His Presence in the midst of the "detours." So Let us be reminded today that nothing takes God by surprise. He's got it all in control and we are in His good Hands. Have an awesome day.
We ask because we have a need. We seek because we are looking, we knock because we are filled with expectation. Never stop asking, looking or knocking. But who are you asking? What are you looking for? What door are you knocking on? It makes a big difference. If you ask a dozen people the same question you will get a dozen different answers- none of them even helpful. If you seek the wrong things, you may get them, but end up disappointed. If you knock on the wrong door... well you know what can happen. Only the Lord God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob has the answers you need. Only He is the One to seek after with all your heart. Only His door is the right One! He will guide, comfort and deliver us through the storms and issues of life as we faithfully and continuously ask, seek and knock. Be confident He hears, He knows, He sees. He loves. Have an awesome day.
God's Grace knows no bounds, no limits. It is overwhelming! That's why we serve Him and walk in obedience. It's in response to this Grace, this unmerited favor that we know we don't deserve, that we "renounce ungodliness and worldly passions and live self-controlled, upright and godly lives." Titus 2:11 MSG Bible. Grace transforms our desires, motivations, behavior and attitudes. Lord, thank you for your Grace. May you give us opportunity this day to offer it to someone who has lost their way, who is without hope, who is blind in their spirit and cannot see you are the Way, the Truth and the Life. Your Grace transforms lives. It is truly amazing! Have an awe filled day.
Pain alerts us that something is wrong. That is the purpose of the pain. Physical pain causes us to pay attention to our body and seek out medical attention where needed. So we must also pay attention when our pain is emotional, mental or spiritual. We seek out the only One who can help us. Such pain causes us to run to Jesus. This is the purpose of the pain. We seek God, we find God and discover He's been there all along waiting for us to ask for help, waiting for us to surrender the cause of the pain and accept His healing balm. There is purpose in the pain. As we are comforted by God, He asks us to comfort others who are in the same pain He delivers us from, but we will comfort from a viewpoint of having personally experienced that person's pain. We will comfort with love and mercy. We will have the same compassion for others as the Lord God has shown us. That is the purpose for the pain. So endure, stand and having done all-- stand. The pain is worth the gain.
Did you ever just thank God for a brand new day? No frills, no thrills, just thank Him that you woke up and are alive to see another day. The amazing thing about God is that when we thank Him for the new day, not taking it for granted that we woke up, that we are alive —His response is to lavish us with blessings. As if He was just waiting to see if we would be thankful because He couldn’t wait to release His blessings for that day. He’s stores up surprises for us throughout the day. We catch a glimpse of sunrise, we feel the sun on our face, or hide from the rain and see a rainbow in the sky. We marvel at the beauty of a flower, we welcome a breeze on a hot summer day. We talk to love ones, we go for a walk or jog, we get to work on a job or in a home. I could go on and on, but you understand- it’s the everyday things that we need to stop and appreciate and thank God for. The everyday blessings that He so willing and lovingly gives. The ones more than our two eyes can see, more than our hearts can feel. Stop in the busyness of today and just thank God for the day called "This." Thank Him for a brand new day.
What does it mean to be pure in heart? Does it mean we are perfect? Does it mean we always do and say everything perfectly? Hardly, but it does point to the fact that our hearts are important to God. Our heart —that which makes us, us: our emotions, attitudes, thoughts, motives and desires. These all must be submitted to God on a daily basis for Him to shape, mold, change, redirect - Until we will one will and that is His. Let us allow Him to transform us into people after His own heart as we pray, read, study and apply His Word to our hearts. We want to see God!.
Do we really know that in ALL things GOD will work it out for our good? If we really knew this, how would we respond to trials, disappointments, adversities, etc. If we shake our fists at God and blame Him for allowing out trial— then we don’t know. If we curl up in a ball of defeat and seek death —then we don’t know. If we curse those offending us and seek revenge— then we don’t know. If we panic when the “suddenlies” arrive instead of praying— then we don’t know.
But if we know that the Holy One of Israel is for us, if we know the Great I AM that I AM will never leave or forsake us, if we know our Heavenly Daddy (Abba) loves us, then in the trials, adversities, hardships and yes, offenses, we have peace, we walk in confidence with heads held high, we rest in Him and just breathe — knowing in our knower- the Sovereign Lord- He’s got this. The Red Sea parting, mountain moving God- He’s by our side. Nothing’s too hard for Him to do. He’ll see you through. Everything is going to be okay. And yes, this too shall pass. Whatever you are facing today- know this - you are not alone. Fear no evil. Trust God. He’s working on your behalf! Have an awesome day!
As children of God we get to have choices. We can choose to walk in fear on the journey of life or we can choose to walk in faith. We can choose to forgive or hold grudges. We can choose to be happy or wallow in bitterness. We can choose to be instruments of peace or be a channel for confusion. We can choose to trust God or panic in a situation. Either way we choose, there are clear consequences. Let one of your prayers each new day be: Lord help me to choose the good and reject the wrong AND show me the difference. Choose to pray about everything taking nothing for granted and always choose the Lord! Remember- He chose us first! May you have an awesome day.
He’s teaching us to trust. God is teaching us through every trial, difficulty, issue, temptation to trust in Him. To Trust is a verb, an action word. Trust is not passive inaction. When we trust God we kneel our hearts before Him then stand up and walk confidently knowing God reigns. He’s got this. When we trust, we utilize other action words: we wait, listen, rely on, rejoice, rest, abide and believe. I encourage you this day to trust God. No matter the doctor report, the notice from your bank, the letter from the attorney, the “suddenlies” of life appearing at your doorstep—trust God. He has a plan, He has a purpose. He who has begun a good work in you is completing it. Just trust. Have an awesome day.
It’s important that we examine our heart, motives and attitudes as children of God especially when we petition God in prayer. If we hide inquiry in our hearts, He will not hear us. But if our hearts do not condemn us we have confidence toward God and whatever we ask we receive from Him. We must remember to walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the desires of the flesh. I challenge you to ask God to change you first before you ask Him to change anyone else. Ask Him to show you any anger, resentment or bitterness you might be holding on to consciously or unconsciously. Surrender to Him anything He shows you. It’s not for condemnation, it’s to develop in us the character of Christ so we can truly be His representatives in this earth and our prayers be effectual and avail much, so that our worship will indeed be worship. Enjoy your day.
